My computer does not seem to recognise my HPENVY 5540 printer even though it has been connected and worked previously. It is showing as being offine. I have had a new broadband router since the computer was connected.  The test results is stating that I should check that the printer network SSID name matches my wireless router name exactly. What is meant by this a please?

Greetings @Cru42

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post.

I understand that you replaced the router and are unable to configure the printer to print wireless.

Don't worry, I will be glad to help.

Have you tried using HP Print and Scan doctor?

Is the printer connected to the new router?

What is the operating system installed on your computer?

Recommend you to run HP Print and Scan doctor to automatically resolve the issue with printer setup. Click here for assistance. (Windows)

If the issue persists, connect the printer to your computer using an USB cable and refer to page number 87 in the printer manual to convert USB to wireless.

Click here for the printer manual.

Let me know if this helped.
