Cannot connect HP Deskjet 3755 printer

I'm trying to set up my new printer and the online set up is telling me it cannot locate the printer.  I turn it off, unconnect, reconnect.  It will recogine the printer then it will tell me it cannot gather information on the printer.  When I go back it does not recognise the printer again!  Help!!

Have you tried performing any troubleshooting steps before posting this on HP Forums?

I see that there is full feature software available for this printer. However, in an Apple update, there are inbuilt print and scan drivers available for this printer model. Please follow the below steps to install the Mac inbuilt printer drivers.

• Please download the Mac inbuilt drivers from this link: http://hp.care/2flF56z
• From System Preferences, click on Print & Scan.
• Click the Plus sign.
• Select the listed DeskJet Printer.
• Click the drop-down menu next to Use or Print Using and click on Select Printer Software.
• Select the DeskJet Printer from the list.
• Click OK to confirm your selection and add the printer, then try printing using the configured print queue.
