Error is self explanatory, when trying to send email, the printer was unable to contact the SMTP server. The two most common causes of this are a wrong SMTP address or name being used, or a DNS setting that does not allow the device to resolve and find the SMTP server on the network. If you have an external SMTP server, meaning no based on your local network, try using 8.8.8.8 as your secondary DNS.
