Cannot scan.Message states that scanning softwear may not be installed. How do I resolve this issue.

HP Recommended
HP Envy7640 SDGOB-1401-04
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Message--The scan could not be completed. Makesurethat the scanning softwear has been installed and configured on your computer, and then try again. I don't know how to determine if the scanning softwear has been installed.

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you download and install the FULL feature printer software from HP for your operating system:

 

The following resource will help you :

http://123.hp.com/us/en/

Key in your printer model, Operating System and download & install the FULL feature software.

Once you have downloaded and installed the FULL feature software, you will be able to print and scan.
