@Azeembaig1,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you.

I understand that you are facing carriage jam issue with your HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 3775 All-in-One Printer.

This issue could be a hardware issue with the unit.

Let's go through a few steps to troubleshoot this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Carriage Jam

Let me know how this works.

You have a good day ahead.

No. It's not a paper jam or any other obstruction but a physical plastic object stopping the free movement of the cartridge case. Anyways I have requested for replacement of the unit hopefully I may get the same. But without any proper pre delivery checks for even these basic elements of the product does not auger well for a company of HPs stature.

Hi! @Azeembaig1, I am the MrRobot. It looks like you were interacting with @Rainbow23, but he is out of the office today so I'll take over from here.

Thanks for your response I understand your concern.

Try to align the cartridges and check if it helps.

a. Load letter or A4 unused plain white paper into the input tray.
b. Open the printer software. For more information, see Open the HP printer software (Windows)
on page 18.
c. In the printer software, click Print & Scan and then click Maintain Your Printer to access the
printer toolbox.
The printer toolbox appears.
d. Click Align Cartridges on the Device Services tab.
The printer prints an alignment page.
e. Follow the onscreen instructions to align the cartridges. Recycle or discard the cartridge alignment
sheet later.

If the issue still persists it is a hardware issue with the printer, please contact HP support for service options.

As you mentioned you are getting a replacement printer I'm glad to hear that, It does not happen with all the printer we manufacture out of 1000 printers probably 1 printer might be faulty.

I'll watch your reply!

Take Care! 🙂
