Hey everyone,
I have a LaserJet Color 2600n and I can't take any of my cartridges from the printer. The're all suck in the right side.
How can I repair that?
Thanks !

Finaly found it God !
I opened my printer to clean it completely. I dismounted the ETB in the front of the printer and I had some difficulties reinstalling it, which cause the cartridge to not move anymore. So I try again and again and finaly got it. There's this small white object on the picture that you must remove in order to remove de ETB. You must replace it while the ETB is in the 'door close' position. Then, you must be sure that when installing it, the white part right next to his right side, is in position so that it will fit in the hole of the object you are replacing. I got a picture to show what I mean. Also be sure that the white part fit perfectly in the small space of the black object on the right (I'm not the best for explaining I'm sorry). But I hope the image said enough for you to understand!

I found someone with the same problem so you can see what's going on : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SSe0cc8jQXI
The same thing happened to me but all my four cartridges are stuck because the mecanism won't move and I don't know what to do.

And this is for those who don't know how to get to this point. There's this video who show how. You DON'T need to remove the ETB or all the object. But it's to show you how to open it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fA1Wb59Dntc

After playing with this a bit more, I was able to remove the old cartridge and input the new one in my 2600N. The method described above did not work for me, but the following did:
On the right side of the cartridge, it is held in by a small plastic clip. I took a very small flat head screw driver and pushed the clip to the right some more to release the cartridge. Once the cartridge was out, the new cartridge was easy to put back in place.
Admittedly this is a bit of a jury-rig, but it worked. But, this printer is so old that I was happy to get this going. I am also betting that I will have to do this for all of my cartridge replacements going forward.
So for all of us that could not get the above to work, maybe this will help 🙂

I had the same problem and was not able to use the steps in your post to fix the issue but it did lead me to determine what the problem was. I have attached a photo of the piece that is broken and the piece that broke off. It took me a little bit to figure out why I was not able to get my setup working even though it looked almost identical to your image. The black piece that was not real visible in the picture was the culprit. In the attached photos below to see what I am talking about, I removed one of the gears to be able to get a better view of the broken piece.
I hope this helps those that are still having the problem and simply lining up the gears and levers does not work.
