Has anyone run into issue with this printer being stuck with an old Ip address that cannot be accessed. We tried to download the driver but it does not install properly on win 7 64. The disk that came with the printer also does not run to completion. We now have a printer with an old IP address that was setup before we were on the scene and no apparent way to reset the IP address and connect to it??
Any suggestions, would be greatly appreciated!!

Here is what I do when I can not change an ip address. I take one computer on the network and go into network settings, tcp/ip and change that computer for the time being to a manual address which is in the same frame as the plotter. Example the plotter is 192.168.10.15 with a submask of 255.255.254.0 and gateway of 192.168.10.1. I make the computer's tcp/ip settings to 192.168.10.16 with the same submask and gateway. I then apply the settings and close the network page. I then open a web browser and type in the address of the printer. When the web page comes up, I go to network settings and change them to what they should be at the new location. I save and apply, go back into the network settings on the computer and change them to I assume dhcp and apply and I now should be able to communicate and load the driver for the printer. Hope this helps.
