Hi,
It always helps to mention which OS you are using.
here is the general Windows force print queue stop method.
1. Go to Start, Control Panel and Administrative Tools. Double click on Services icon.
2. Scroll down to the Print Spooler service and right click on it and select Stop. In order to do this, you need to be logged in as Administrator.
3. Next you need to go to the following directory: C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\PRINTERS. Delete all the files in this folder. This will clear all print queues.
4. Now you can go back to the Services console and right-click and select Start for the Print Spooler service.
You can also go to a command prompt and type net stop spooler or net start spooler to start and stop the service.
regards,
erico

Hello flower_girl
The following steps should help you get to the Print Queue in OSX. From there you should be able to clear the Queue.
- Click the Apple menu icon (
), and then click System Preferences on the drop-down menu.
- Click Print & Fax in Mac OS X 10.6 or Print & Scan in OS X 10.7 to open the Printers list.
- Click your HP product in the Printers list, and then click Open Print Queue . The print queue opens.
When a solution is found please mark the post that solves your issue.

Hi rlmkpm,
I am sorry to see your print queue is not deleting. I would like to help you.
I would like to know which OS you are running?
*Tip - If you are running Windows, try:
HP's Print and Scan Doctor - This will hopefully correct your print queue. Also, restart your computer and printer.
Regards,

Windows 7 or XP
When the print queue cannot be cleared you must go to 2 different places in the computer to clear it.
Basically:
- The print spooler needs to be stopped
- Delete the files holding up the spooler
- The spooler needs to be restarted
Stopping the print spooler:
- Right click on My Computer (or computer)
- Click on Manage
- On the computer management screen click on “services”
- Scroll down to “Print Spooler” and double click to open it
- In the “service status” section click on STOP
Leave that window open and move to the next step.
Deleting the files that are jammed
- Open
C:
Windows
System 32
Spool
Printers
- You will see 2 entries for each print job. Delete both of them.
Start the print spooler again in the previous window by clicking START.
You should now be able to print.
