Seriously!, I just want 4 copies of a 50 page document and I want the copies to be collated. There is nothing on the printer for collating or copying in reverse order so the copies come out properly. There is no copy tab on the HO assistant. Why is this burried and can someone tell me how to find this amazingly rare jewel of information. I can't be the only business owner copying documents.

Hi @collin1026,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
Please watch this example on how to Copy using the Collate feature:
HP Officejet Pro 6970/8720/8730/8740/7740 Copy document using Collate feature
(Different printer but the steps to use the "Collate" feature is the same)
The collate will only appear if the document is loaded onto the Automatic Document Feeder.
You can see that in the screen grab from the video below under the "Copy Setrtings".
Hope that helps!

To add further, be sure to load the original document into the feeder prior selecting Copy > Document and accessing its settings, the collate option will only appear once an original is loaded into the top feeder, else the option won't be available...
Hope that may help,
Shlomi
