ColorLaser Jet Pro MPF M477fdw
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I went from a HP Multi Function 8600 Premium Inkjet to the Color Laser Jet Pro MPF M477fdw and I am really having a hard time figuring things out on my own.  The 8600 was so easy, I could just put a whole months worth of invoice/reciepts in a small pile on the document feeder and it would automatically scan all of the pages into a single file.  This made searching for a specific receipt in a given month a breeze, because you could just open the file for that month and scroll down all the pages and find a certain receipt by date.  One stop shopping I guess, so I did not have to open seperate files to search.

I was having trouble figuring out how to get the new printer to scan from the document feeder and was very happy with the help that ShlomiL gave me, his suggestion fixed it right away.  Are you out there ShlomiL, I need your help again? :0) On the HP 8600 Inkjet, it was easy, when I was at the printer, scanning something,  the screen would ask where I wanted to send the scan to, what format I wanted to send it in, and if I was using the glass, it would ask if i had another item to scan?  The only thing the Laser Jet asks is where Ido i want to send it to.  I tried to figure this out by looking in the manual, but I couldn't find the fix there.  Is there a super manual out there that I don't know about?

I want to be able to scan multiple pages into a single file, hopefully at the printer.

Thank you for any help you can provide,

Schmatzl

Oh, there are no error codes.
