Hp Deskjet Ink advantage 4535
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

This printer I bought in Jun 2016 and using it for black & while and color prints. Black and white print used to be great and color of kind of ok quality. However for last few days black and white print is having some vertical which is not that clearly visible unless you try to view from close however for color photo pink vertical lines clearly visible and width of pink line has increased after running cartridge cleanup and printer allignment (I ran those as suggested in HP support page)

HP ink estimate shows 50% for blank ink and around 20%  for color ink.

This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are getting vertical lines when you print from HP DeskJet Ink Advantage 4535.

I would like to help you resolve this issue.

Don't worry though as I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Print a Print Quality Diagnostic report.
  • Clean the scanner glass and pick up rollers.
  • Clean the ink cartridges.
  • If these steps do not work, contact HP phone support for further assistance.

If the issue is resolved and you appreciate my help,

Please click the "Accept as Solution" button and the "Thumbs Up".

Let me know how you make out.

Cheers!

I tried cartridge clean, printer alignment and all other steps mentioned on HP support page but none helped. Later I replaced color cartridge (which seems to  be still having 20% level) with new color cartridge and problem seems to be resolved. Now pink  vertical lines are not appearing on color print.

Thanks.
