I recently reached out to Microsoft Script Center and they directed me to the printer Vendor. I have a printer install script I am drafting that we can push down to several computers at several different locations to configure and install either the
HP OfficeJet Pro X576dw MFP & HP PageWide Pro 577MFP
The script works like a charm, but now they want me to add in a function that will set the printers to grayscale printing by default and print of plain paper (letter) by default. As I mentioned above Microsoft directed me to HP since these two functions are not controlled by Windows.
Is there a way to do this through a command line or some other scriptable utility?
