Unfortunately, this didn't work for me.

Is there a special security setting on the router for HP printers?

Hi, ive found a new way to update the wifi settings. If you connect the router with the previous network then go on to the printer and press the wifi button. This should show you the ip address of the printer. Go on to a web browser on computer/tablet/phone and type the ip address like so eg if ip address is 192.168.0.50 then in browser type http://192.168.0.50 This should load the printer page in your web browser. click on wifi settings -> connect to your new wifi network and type the password for that network, The printer will now disconect from the old network onto the new network. Hope that helps 🙂

Tip: if you dont have the old wifi connection then use a wifi hotspot from your phone with the same settings (wifi name and password) as the old connection. connect your computer/tablet/phone to this hotspot and your printer should also connect. follow above steps and fill in new details 😛
