OK every time I go to connect my printer to my android phone using the HP smart app it keeps telling me to turn off my hotspot and turn on my Wi-Fi. The problem is I don't have a home network as such my android is the router since it's the device broadcasting a hotspot for other devices like my laptop  to have internet access. so is it possible to connect my phone to my printer using Wi-Fi direct instead of always having to be broadcasting a hotspot?  I can't seem to do it because the HP smart app always wants it to be on the Wi-Fi and not the Wi-Fi hotspot.  So far I think this is a bug that HP needs to fix because if I'm broadcasting a hotspot I can't turn on the Wi-Fi without turning off the hotspot bc android won't let you.. anyone?? Much thanks if u got a solution.
