I just bought an HP Officejet 4620 e-All-in-One Printer and I am trying to connect it to my Google Chromebook, which has the Cloud Services in it.

I am also having problems been able to get the Printer Claim Code for the set-up instructions.

Also, how do I get my HP ePrint e-mail address?

The model name of the printer is CZ152A.

Hope to get some answers. Thank you.

Hi Oyale,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums. I understand that you have a Chromebook and an Officejet 4620 printer and would like to get it setup and running.

Let's start by getting the printer onto your home wireless network. I have included a link to your user guide, on page 200 in the section titled "Set up the printer using the embedded web server (EWS)" you will find the detailed instructions.

Now that the printer on your wireless network we need to enable the web services for each printer. There is a section in your user guide starting on page 70 that reviews HP ePrint. In the section "Set up HP ePrint using the embedded web server" please follow the instructions to get your web services information sheet.

Once the web services are enabled you will want to create a customized ePrint email address for your printer. I have included a document with detailed instructions.

Now that we have customized ePrint email addresses we need to set up Google Cloud Print. I have included a document with the instructions for setting up Google Cloud Print. We should now be printing. For additional reference I have included the link to the Google Cloud Print web page.

Thanks  very much for the response and it was very helpful. I am now able to use the Officejet to print and to photocopy.

However, I am still finding it difficult to scan documents. How can I  go about doing this?

    Thanks.

We have connected a HP Officeject 4620 to Google Cloud print and have set up the HP eprint email address.  However we are not able to scan documents to the Chromebook.  Advise on how to accomplish this?

I'm unable to connect my Chromebook to my Officejet 4620.  I've gone through all the steps of setting up the printer through Web Services and creating a printer email to use for ePrint; however, when I go to select the printer in the Chrome settings, the printer doesn't show up as a connection option.  What am I doing wrong?  Has the setup procedure changed?
