LaserJet P1109w
macOS 10.12 Sierra

Have Apple computer.  Need help connecting P1109w to my new Airport Extreme to print wirelessly.

Need better instructions than provided with printer.

I know I have to hold the "X" button so it prints some info and have to use the USB cable to connect to the computer and then the internet and type in some of that info into the browser.  Browser address would something like...

http://10.0.1.7/SSI/index.htm

The video

doesn't help.

I follow the instructions for Connect the printer to a wireless setup using a USB connection but at 36 seconds into the video, when I click "Oen Printer Utiltiy," I don't get the box for the "HTML config"

Can anyone share their expertise so I can stop being so frustrated???

Many, many thank you in advance!   :generic:

Hey @KeepItSimple1, Thanks for reaching out!

I understand you have some issues getting your printer connect to your new Airport Extreme.

Here is a document which will help you with this.

Link: Setting Up Your HP Printer on a Network with Apple AirPort

Let me know if this helps you fix the issue. If you need any further assistance do let me know.
