Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP LaserJet 148 MFP M148fdw. I recently set it up to print on the Wi-Fi. Ever since no matter what I do I ALWAYS get the "Load Tray 1" error, usually followed by "Press Ok to use available media". Literally every single time no matter what settings I seem to select this comes up. Can anyone tell me how to solve this?

This error means that the paper size and type that in the printer does not match what the print job needs. Most common causes are failure to set the paper size and type on the printer itself and trying to print a job from a different geographic location that uses different paper sizes. I have also had some HP drivers that set the default paper type on the print driver to HP Eco paper. Your profile suggests that you are in the US, which normally means you would need to set paper size to letter and paper type to plain on both the driver and the printer.

Hi, these are the settings I had before pressing print and I still got the "Load Tray Plain, A4" message on the printer. I'm not sure why this message is appearing given the settings I had on the print job (see picture). Can you please advise?

If you are getting a load paper A4 it means that the print job is formatted for A4. If this is a PDF you are printing then most likely the print job was originally formatted in A4 format and that is how it wants to print and the settings on Adobe are set to "print based on PDF size" which will override the driver settings. You should also check the "default paper size" settings on the contorl panel of the printer or through the EWS. Refer to the user guide here http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06165778.pdf for more instructions on doing that.
