HP Envy 4520
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Envy 4520, 4 months old, suddently will not copy or scan a page. Output looks kind of like a test page. See link to image of output. Print works fine. I have reloaded software and drivers. Run test that shows all working fine. This started after almost 4 months of all working fine. Thanks so much.

hi jimtf4,

it seems that there is something wrong with the scan hardware. You may approach to the service center for repair since it is still under warranty.

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Forums.

Can you try to restart your printer (switch off and switch on) and ensure that the scanner lid is cloded when the printer is starting up.  After that, try doing a copy job again, what's the results?

If the results are still the fuzzy print, then your scanner may be defective.

Thanks.
