I just purchased HP Office Jet Pro 7740 wide format.
I am trying to customize a paper size.
Can you please tell me how this is done? I have tride troubleshooting but I dont see any category for customize paper settings.

The information you seek is in the How-to > Print > Instructions and Settings Section for your printer:
If Custom Paper Size is available for your printer, find the forms setup in Print Server Properties:
Control Panel > icon view > Devices and Printers > Left-Click on your Printer one time to highlight >
Along the top ribbon: Left-Click Print Server properties
Reminder:
Use a similar type "starting template" (from the forms list) to create your new Custom Size Paper.
For example, if you are creating a new Custom Size form for a photo paper, use a standard form of the Media type (kind of paper) "photo".
