I own a designjet t520 36 inch and have been using it for a good 3 months, mainly using the roll feed.
Only recently, i tried using the multisheet tray and realize a number a problems,
I tried printing on 11x17 and 8.5x11 but the paper always feeds in and they indicate a paper mismatch error.
For example, when i try printing on 11x17, they will expect the "width" of the paper to be 17 inch rather than 11 inch. This happens when I try printing with 8.5x11.
I print through Adobe illustrator and make sure that all the paper formating are right.
I have already checked that the firmware is up to date
Any suggestions will definitely help.

Hello joelwong123,
1.Please make sure that when using media from the multisheet tray, the check mark/tick mark on the front panel is on the multisheet tray and not on roll or single sheet.
2. When printing from any application(PDF/MS Word/CAD), please open the application, select print, and then select printer properties and make sure the paper source selected in the driver is manual feed and not printer auto select. Also make sure the right paper size is selected in the driver
Please try printing after changing the paper source to manual feed tray.

Hello,
HP Designjet T520 hardware is designed to select paper from Multisheet tray as default and we cannot make roll as the default option.
With reference to paper mismatch error, that is due to older version drivers. Kindly update the drivers on the PC, it will fix the paper mismatch error.
