LaserJet P2015dn

Hi, I have a Laserjet P2015dn connected with cable to our switch. Not USB connected (when it was connected it was the same).

My problem is that I can't get into printer's configuration to change ip or other things.

The TCP/Ip shows this:

Host Name:
Domain Name:
IP address: 0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask: 0.0.0.0
Default Gateway 0.0.0.0
IP COnfigured by: Manual
WINS Server: 0.0.0.0

DCHP: Disabled

I already tryed a "cold reset" with cancel + go button. And turn off + go button.

I need to enable dhcp or set a static ip to the printer. Can someone help me? Sorry for my english. Thanks.

Try the procedure in the following post:

Since you are connected to a switch, there is no IP address to give out since there is no DHCP server. And you have DHCP disabled in the printer. IP addresses of 0.0.0.0 is normal.

I know that but I need to know HOW TO ENABLE DHCP! I already connect to a router but nothing.

I can't connect to the ip of the printer of course cause is 0.0.0.0 so I can't get into web
I can't use hp toolbox fx cause it doesn't work
I downloaded the Administrator Kit but it doesn't work in 64 bits and I didn't see any tool to configure printer options like dhcp or ip.

So how can I configure the printer to give it an ip or enable dhcp?

Did you read the User Guide fully?

If the Network Configuration page does not have a valid, non-zero IP address, reset the HP
internal network port to the factory defaults by pressing the Go and Cancel buttons at the
same time.

Like I told in the 1st post I already did the "cold reset" or whatever it's call. Pressing the 2 buttons and waiting the 2 minutes after reset.

And you plugged the printer into a router via LAN cable and power up? Did the router see the IP address or not?
