Hello there,
My HP DJ T1200 displays a white screen with the LED lights I formatter and therefore does not work, there are t he no choice but to replace the formatter?

Hi,

With the printer off, take the formatter out, remove the battery for 5 min and reinstall it. this sometimes works.

If posible, share the status of the 3 leds on the formatter.

The issue could be the formatter or the Main PCA. The Leds on the formatter can tell you what part is faling

I performed the operation, but the screen is always lit in white, the power key is flashing, and the LED "1" is on, thank you for the way forward, good day.

With the power off remove the formatter and then reseat it and see what happens. Issue is formatter and sometimes reseating helps.

If the Led 1 is solid on and 2 and 3 are off, the problem is the formatter.

I just bought a used HP Designjet T1200 PostScript Plotter.

I turned it on, and the display screen is on but blank, and the green start button is flashing on and off. The 1 setting in the area for newtwork plug in is flashing and the other two are off.

Another Forum mentioned something about the formatter. What is the formatter and how do I fix it - if that is what the problem is?

I havent put ink in the machine yet, and I havent loaded the paper. Is that part of teh problem?
