Hi everyone!

After paper jamming (switching off, switching on) I've got the error code 02.1:10 while switching on.

In attach - the photo with additional information about error.

P.S. In diagnostic mode all other passed test ok, and the led was light on at Carriage PCA while it testing, next step - this error again.

Straight out of the manual...

- Check that trailing cable is not dameged
- Check that trailing cable is correctly connected to the carriage PCA, interconnect PCA and to the Gamut PCI PCA
- Replace the carriage PCA
-IF the system error continues, replace the gamut PCI PCA

Good morning to all.

I would like to bring up an issue that I have with my HP Z6100 printer. I was having problem with the yellow ink that when I had to print a large poster with use of yellow ink during the print I was getting an ink end of yellow (like it was drained out of ink). In the test print all the yellow nozzles were just fine. Prints with small amount of ink the plotter was just fine. I call a technician and he said that it might is a clog in the ink line and that probably the ink trailing lines needs replace. We bought a refurbished ink supply tubes and trailing cable unit and we put it on, but we kept my 2 ink electric circuit boards that comes with the ink tube line. We start the machine and we have got an error message 02.1.10 and the machine switched off by itself. We put it on and we had an electric shock on the carriage PCA board the one over the prindheads (it was fried with burn smell, etc). We order a new PCA carriage PCA. We change and the two circuit cables from the ink tube trail, the one that transfers data to the PCA and the power line also (we thought that maybe the refurbished one had a problem and we put my old ones back on). We started the machine and we again got the same error message 02.1.10. Now he went to take and the second PCA unit (Sausalito PCA I think) to try it on.

Any thoughts or any advice will be most appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

Originally the problem could have been the printhead due to starvation.

On that case is better to replace the PH and if the issue return, replace the printehad and the ink cartridge.

At this point, replace the damage parts with new parts.

Posible parts damage :

Trailing cable

Carriage PCA

Sausalito

Interconnect board

Dear Mr. Mike G. thank you for the responce,

I have already order an a new Sausalito PCA board, but due to capital controls here in Greece it will take about 15 days in order to arrive from abroad and the HP Greece doesn't keep any parts in stock here. You said that the problem might got started by a problem with the printhead. I weighted the two Yellow-Magenta printheads and one of them is 15 grams lighter than the other. You believe that this printhead might be the problem where it started. I have heard that if a printhead stays without ink there is a safety lock inside her thats not allow her to refilled from the machine again with ink. Is it correct?

So far I have change the data trailing cable and the power cable to the PCA, I have the new Carriage PCA and waiting for the new Sausalito PCA and a new Yellow-Magenta Printhead and we will see!

Thanks in advance for any responce,

With regards,

Lefteris
