Deskjet 2540 printer
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Deskjet 2540 printer. Black ink ran out. I replaced with a brand new HP cartridge (black 61).  Black ink cartridge light stays on (not blinking) no matter what attempts to reset as suggested in troubleshooting.
