Deskjet D2560

The black ink cartridge ran out towards the end of an 18-page print job. I replaced it in the usual way and clicked to complete the job, but the pages came out blank.

I cleaned the heads and tried again. Blank. The utilities section showed the cartridge as full.

I tried a second new cartridge, with the same result.

I've not received any error messages.

I was using the same wireless connection for the first pages of the job as for the ones I tried and failed to print.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on and how to fix it?

Thank you.

@BrunoO,

Welcome to HP Forums, this is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out.

I understand that your HP Deskjet D2560 Printer is printing blank pages after the print cartridge ran out of ink in the middle of printing an 18-page print job.

This issue could occur if the new cartridge is not aligned properly.

Don't worry as I have a few steps that should help fix this issue.

And here's the step by step guide for you in the link: Aligning Print Cartridges

If the issue persists, then let us know the operating system installed on the computer from the link:  Windows Operating System or Mac Operating System

Let me know how that works.

I hope you have a good day ahead.
