Product: Deskjet 3525
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi there,
I recently purchased a new Lenovo Laptop. I have a HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3525 printer but could not connect it to my laptop as I have misplaced the disk with the drivers and software.
Due to this, I had to download the drivers and software from the HP website. Everything was going well. I print most of my work wirelessly and had no problems in the past with my previous laptop or cellphone.
However, when setting up the wireless part of the software/driver, I was asked to connect to an internet connection. Therefore, my printer now will only connect wirelessly if I connect my laptop and printer to the same router. It uses up my data as I print out a lot of work.
Previously with the same printer I had never printer while using the internet.
What actually is wrong? And how can I go back to just printing wirelessly without an router connection?
My iPhone does however connect to the printer for wireless prints.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Hi,
Thanks for using the HP Forums.
Believed that you are referring to the Wifi Direct feature.
This example would show you how to connect and print :
How to change the Wifi Direct Password
Hope that helps!
