The software didn't uninstall completely (more of a computer issue unfortunately) but if you just purchased it you can at least get free phone support from HP.com/support phone number for a year because trying to find the files and cleaning out the lost files on the computer can get very complicated depending on the severity of the issue. But a really easy fix if you haven't tried it yet is simply to reboot the PC and try again. In your All Programs of the start button on your windows computer, do you still have a folder in there for your printer? If so is there an option there to uninstall?
