HP Deskjet F2400
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

My Deskjet F2400 printer is connected to my PC using a USB cable, but is displayed as "not connected". I can print a test page, but cannot do any other printing or scanning.

I have downloaded and run the HP Print and Scan Doctor which says I need to Get Installer, but whne I follow the link and go to the HP website (https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-deskjet-f2400-all-in-one-series/3811093/model/38...) this simply lists drivers but doesn't enable downloading

There is nothing to download and run. You have a link that guides you on how to install a printer with Microsoft build-in drivers if it works for your printer model.

Thanks for the reply.

I have followed this suggestion but, sadly, it still doesn't work.

I can find the printer in Control Panel - Devices, but even if I uninstall and re

install, there is no prompt for drivers, and the device is still listed as offline.

Thanks anyway
