I have tried to print and a message in the printing spool comes up as Error. When i run the HP Scan Doctor it says Device status error, but I am unable to find a solution. I have downloaded all necessary drivers and taken power off for 2 minutes. It also doesnt copy anything but does go through the motion of doing so but the paper comes out blank

Hi @TheWarren1,
I'd like to help!
To assist better-
1) Does the copy print out the same way?
2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device?
While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -
-
Load plain white paper in the input tray.
-
From the printer control panel, open the Setup
menu.
-
Open the Reports or Tools menu.
-
Touch Print Quality Report.
Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further.
You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer - Print Quality Issues
Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
