LaserJet 3030
Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

How do I disable the EconMode on the LaserJet 3030.   The printing is very light.  I put in a new HP 12A Toner Cartridge with little Improvement.  I think the printer may be in EconMode.  Would like to know how to disable this mode.  Running Windows 7 (32bit).

Thank you.

That information is in the User Guide which I downloaded and read.

1. To enable EconoMode, open the device properties (or printing preferences in Windows
2000 and Windows XP). See
Changing print settings for more information.

2. On the
Paper/Quality tab or the Finishing tab (the Paper Type/Quality tab for some
Macintosh drivers), select the
EconoMode check box.

The printer is at my parents home.  I was there on Sunday and I did open the printer property window and did not find any button to disable the Economode.   This PC is running Windows 7 Home Ed (32-bit).   Do I need an updated driver ?

I won't be able to try anything until the weekend.

For situations like this, I would install Teamviewer on your computer and the remote computer.   This way you can check anything you want on that computer.   I have this on my sister's and brother's computers because I always have to help them.  😉
