does anyone know how to just add the HP Standard TCP/IP Port? I do not want to install all the HP software, just the port.
HP give this solution: http://h20564.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-bpp03923
but I don't know where to find the link to download a designjet CD-ROM to run the IS_Setup utility on windows server 2003, to create a HP Standard TCP/IP port. I am migrating a print server, and 10+ of the printers are failing due to no HP port. I need to install the port so the legacy printers will work.
Help Me, thanks.

Hi,
You would need a driver first, then point to its INF file.
Which printer models, which operating system?
You may also use Standard TCP/IP Port which exists on any server by default.
To guide you further, please provide some minimal information as above..

Hi, thanks for replay
I have several server with windows server 2003 32bit. I have always used Standard TCP/IP port but now I am migrating a print server, and 10+ of the printers are failing due to no HP port.
I need to install the HP port so the legacy printers (HP 3005 and HP 3015 with 32/64 bit drivers) will work, in one of the server with HP Standard TCP/IP port, it is OK, but I do not remember how I have installed that Port. HP give a solution running a utility :
SOLUTION: Create the HP Standard TCP/IP port using the CD shipped with the printer or by downloading from the web. Follow the appropriate instructions below:
