I have a new LaserJet P1102w printer. Will a remanufactured toner void the warranty?

Hi, I don't have a Laserjet specific document, but the general warranty statement is linked below....

"This warranty pertains to any HP ink cartridge or printhead when used in its designated HP or authorized original equipment manufacturer (OEM) printing device."

Hello Ciara_B

Thanks for responding to my question. But I think I must have misstated my question. I do understand the cartridge's manufacturer will have their warranty for the toner cartridge. I am asking about the printer. Will HP void the warranty if I use a non-HP toner cartridge? Thanks for helping me.

No, absolutely not.

If you buy smartly and well, non-OEM cartridges should also be warranted against defects and damage to your printer.

I understood you the first time...

No, it does not.   Please read the following:

In fact, it is[Moderator edited comment and pm sent]  due to using a non-HP cartridge.  Also, it is [Moderator edited comment and sent pm]if you use a remanufactured cartridge.

HP continues to attempt to scare consumers into buying their overpriced refills by putting notices in their documentation and support forums (such this one)  telling consumers their warranty will be voided if they use a non-HP cartridridge.  Once again, and to make this perfectly clear, it is

Hi @jp7788

Is it inkjet warranty or laserjet warranty you're interested in? Looks like some of your comments were edited so I'm not sure. Just FYI, for all the details on inkjet warranty, check out the link below...
