Product: HP 1320
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
Spent hours trying to communicate with my trusty HP 1320 printer w/a win 8.1 system. According to HP instructions I am to start w/the HP LaserJet USB (DOT4) communication driver for Windows 8 and Higher (64-bit).
I downloaded the Dot4x64.msi file (several times) and tried to run it - with admin rights - but keep receiving a message saying "This installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid windows package."
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
