HP Officejet J4580 All-in-One Printer

Have changed my laptop from Lenovo to Acer. The 'add a printer' option on the Acer recognises the printer but not the drivers. I have downloaded the driver file from the HP site (zipped file HPPSdr) but when i try and open the download I get the error message 'Extraction failed.  Cannot delete output file'.

Have also tried installing the printer using HP smart but the App cannot find the printer when it's connected.

Any ideas please?

Thanks

@Laira52

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand that you are getting driver error, I am glad to assist you.

This seems to be a driver issue,  follow these steps to fix the issue.

There is no particular driver available for this printer model.

However, you can install the printer using Windows built-in driver.

Here are the steps:- Click here
