Here is what I did with this printer:

o I bought it factory sealed.

o I plugged it at home to the electricity outlet.

o I configured it entirely over Wi-Fi (firmware version is 2017-12-10).

 

When trying to print "two-sided, portrait, long-edge binding" from macOS 10.14.3 (Mojave), I was hit by the issue: every "back" page was justified to the bottom of the page, instead of the top.

 

I tried your suggestion Honor Student, unplugged the printer from the electricity outlet for 30 s., and plugged it back. And so far it seems to have fixed the issue for me too. Thanks!
