ENVELOPES WILL NOT FEED THROUGH THE PRINTER.

THE PRINTER TRES BUT THEY WILL NOT FEED THROUGH.

AFTER EACH ATTEMPT I GET A PAPER JAM ERROR.

THREE OF MY OLD HP PRINTERS WOULD DO THIS FINE.  THIS NEW ONE DOES NOT!

WHY WILL THE FEEDER NOT PULL THE ENVELOPE THROUGH AS THE ENVELOPES ARE PLACED CORRECTLY IN THE PAPER FEEDER.

IS THERE ANOTHER WAY TO FEED THEM THROUGH THE PRINTER?

PAPER PRINTS AND FEEDS JUST FINE.

Welcome to the HP Forums

I saw your post on Envelope feed issue in HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer. I am happy to help you with this issue!

I have a few steps to determine the issue and find a solution as well,

  • Make sure that Front of the envelope is facing down and the flap to the left.
  • Clean the paper feed rollers from inside the ink cartridge access area.
  • Clean the rollers from inside the rear of the printer.
  • Reset the printer.

Click here for the document which you can refer.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for being a part of the HP community.
