Dear Annesaph,

I would advise that you just download Easyscan from the App Store (if you have a mac pc) and one it. You will get a window that has two fields at the top. The upper one is named "scanner". click on the little arrows at the right hand end of that field and choose "browse scanners".

You will see a list of any scanner(s) which is in range, wi fi enabled and switched on.

Click on your HP Envy 5660. Its name will then appear in the window.

Choose scan and the scanner will operate.

There are some self explanatory icons to allow you to manipulate the image before you save or print it

I want to automatically scan from my HP MFP282 to my imac computer without using the screen on the scanner not the HP Samrt ap.
