Chrome OS

Using HP Eprint via wifi.

Leaving printer on over time without printing, eventually get Error code 0X00D0CD51, UI_MAIN_MEM. Unplugging clears it ok; & otherwise works fine.

Does HP auto-update f'ware or must I do manually?

Hi,

Thanks for using the HP Support Community.

We found this resource that shows how to update the Firmware from the printer front panel, assuming the printer is already connected to the network.

Why updating printer firmware is important? (on Monochrome Graphics Display)

Were you printing from Chromebook or Windows OS?

If the printer is not connected to the network, try checking out this relevant resource:

HP Officejet Pro 8700, 6900 series :Wireless: Setup Wizard

Hope that helps to resolve the error!

I am an HP Employee. Although I am speaking for myself and not for HP.
