Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Let's try to reset the Printer here as it helps in removing any stored static electricity from the Printer which might be causing these issues.
- Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Wait at least 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
- NOTE: HP recommends connecting the printer power cord directly to the wall outlet.
- Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
- Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
- Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
Also, try connecting the Printer to a different wall outlet directly.
If the issue persists, please perform the remaining steps from this document: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-6970-all-in-one-printer-series/8289585/model/1...

This is the third HP printer that I've had and each one has stopped working for one reason or another in less than two years...a broken plastic gear, a broken carriage, and this time I couldn't even say. We had a power outage and when the power was restored the printer was fritzed out. I have a 06x000048 error message and have tried all the troubleshooting, manuel cleaning and restoring to no avail. I don't believe I'll be buying another HP product.
