Hi PITA1018,

 

Thank you for replying. Since all the steps in the document have been completed, and the error message is still appearing on the printer this would indicate that there is a failure with the printer.

 

I would suggest contacting HP at 1-800-474-6836 as they may have some options available for replacement with a discounted cost.

Ink system failure is the message I am getting.  The printing makes the sound of printing, but does not actually print anything on the paper.
