Product: HP Office Jet Pro 8022

when I scan a document, I get this message ‘Your scanned document is being emailed. Would you like to scan to email additional documents?’ But there’s no answer to select. There’s only a ‘X’ but when I click it nothing happens. I have to switch off and on again each time. Any idea what’s causing this? I only got the printer last week so wondering if I should return it.
