Hello,

We have a HP CP5225 printer that is having a problem. The event log is showing 41.3000 code. Ocassionally, the display will say that it is printing a document, but not print anything.  Also, has also giving us a 49 error code. I have turned it off and on as the error code suggested. I had a tech come and look about. He said it is possible that there was a corrupted document that someone was trying to print. He also stated that it could be a firmware update. I am open to any help.

Most times when I see this issue it is a network/printserver issue. Is the printer connected to a network and does the q for the printer reside on the server. If it does take one of the computers and load the printer as a local tcp/ip printer and see if that computer has the same issues. If it does not then you need your network people to delete the printer from the server and reinstall and then reinstall on each computer. The 41.3000 error most times refers to paper feed issues with wrong size detected. The tech was correct that most times 49 errors are the result of a bad document trying to print and most times it is a pdf.
