After numerous (greater than 12) print quality and head cleanings, I have successfully obtained a 'good' print quality diagnostics page. To sum up, the instructions provided by HevnlghHelP should be counted as a solution.

Looks like no one ever answered the question. Why is there such a problem with answering how to perform a factory reset? Does the factory know how?

They probably do not know how to perform a Factory Reset.

 

If this continues with no answers, I'm going to perform a Sledge Hammer Reset !!!!

 

This web site is not much better than useless.

I guess the threat of a "Sledge Hammer Reset", must have scared the printer into working.  It printed correctly on three items today.  I have not checked if it works wirelessly with the wife's laptop yet.
