I've replaced the 3 color cartridges with new HP cartridges and it printed about 20 copies just fine, but then when i tried to print more it said ink levels were low. After printing several more days it said," ink cartidges are empty. No way it used all the ink in those cartriges when most of my printing was in black and white. Please HELP!
P.S.-I checked the printers records and have printed less than 500 copies since new last year!

Hello, @BobS137 – Hope you are well 🙂
Thanks for stopping by the HP Support Forums! I’d like to be of your assistance!
Going through your post, I understand that the new printer cartridges that you replaced printer only few pages than it is supposed to. The cartridges should definitely print more than 20 pages before the ink level is low.
I would like to know whether the ink cartridge is low on all the cartridges or is it for a specific cartridge. Please click on the “tear drop” icon the printer control panel to check the individual ink level on the cartridges.
If the level is low on the new cartridges that you replaced, then probably the cartridge that you purchased are faulty. I would recommend you contact the HP phone support to get the cartridges replaced.
You can visit http://www.support.hp.com/contact-hp and fill in your product details to get the tech support number.
(1) Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
(2) Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
(3) Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
(4) Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance!
Good luck 🙂
