@Sherifjoe, thanks for the response.
Thanks for trying out the steps.
It looks to be a hardware issue with the printer.
As you mentioned HP support is not helping you as the printer is out of warranty.
I would suggest you please get in touch with HP authorized service provider and get the printer serviced.
However, you can try changing the file extension to check.
Right-click file with the extension whose association you want to change, and then click Open With.
In the Open With dialog box, click the program with which you want the file to open, or click Browse to locate the program that you want.
Select the Always use the selected program to open this kind of file check box.
Have a beautiful day ahead! 🙂
Cheers! 🙂

Thank you very much for your support.
You know that changing the extention will not make it be possible to open the file.
But I have a question that will help me more to understand my situation how to fix it.
If you are willing to give some help, please I have a question and an answer to it.
The file of the firmware that you are going to send it to the printer, in which place it go to setup on the motherboard? is it on the IC or another place?

@Sherifjoe, thanks for the response.
Thanks for your patience and time.
Yes, it should be stored on EPROM chip on the motherboard.
Hope this answers your query!
Take Care! 🙂

HP custemer service in Egypt said that HP doesn't produce the motherboard for this model any more.
any model has been prduced for more than 5 years there is no parts for it.
I have used this printer just for 3 monthes during 5 years and get at last the fatal error and now HP said there is no parts for this model.
Bad care and waste of money

Hi @Sherifjoe,
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.
They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.
Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.
Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forum.
