I have just installed Web JetAdmin 10.3 SR7 and am in the process of collecting the data on our printer fleet, in preparation for upgrading the firmware on the HP devices we have.
By default the Firmware Repository is located (on a Windows 2008 R2 server) in "C:\Windows\ServiceProfiles\NetworkService\Local Settings\ApplicationData\Hewlett-Packard\HP Web Jetadmin\WjaService\config\FirwareUpgrade" which is somewhat annoying as we would much prefer to save the data on an alternate drive.
Is there a configuration setting that can be modified to relocate the Firmware Repository to somewhere else of our choosing? We already have the Program Files and SQL database installed on an alternate drive precisely because we want to use the C: drive as little as possible. Why is the Firmware Repository location tied to C:\Windows?

Accidentaly hit me too on this sorry.
To answer your question you can choose a diffrent location for both the app install and the repsotiry however I do not beieve you can change the location after install time.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately you are mistaken; at installation time you can set the installation folder of the program files and the installation folder of the MS SQL database. The location of the firmware repository is not optional.

You definatly should be able to as long as its a fresh install. An upgrade will have the location boxes greyed out. My repository on the E:\ drive in a custom folder. I believe you only get one shot to set the repsoitry location and that is at first install time.

You definitely are NOT able to. The ONLY TWO options are program location and SQL location. The repository is not even mentioned during the installation. This was with a fresh installation; nothing is greyed out.
You can configure the *download* location of the firmware files to be anywhere you want: server, local drive, flash drive, anything that has a drive letter. But then the repository copies those files (they're not even compressed, or otherwise modified in any way so far as I can tell) to the fixed location during the import process. Why the import process can't leave the files in the download area and use that as the repository is beyond me.
