I have the Not applicable issue while updating firmware. We have an identical 8710 that worked fine and I tried connecting to the Not applicable printer thru usb with the same Not applicable result. is there a way to rollback the firmware and then update it to the correct verson?

Hi,

Both of your printers have the latest firmware installed and therefore you experience issues while trying to update.

Version 1848AR is later than 1834AR (some printers may ship from the factory with a later firmware than the one available at hp.com), a firmware update will not be applicable with a later firmware already installed.

Do you experience any issues with the printer or any specific reason you are trying to update the printer?

Regards,

Shlomi

Yes, verson Wbp2cn1834ar solved my problem with full ink cartrages reading as empty while Wbp2cn1848ar is reading as empty with refurbished Full ink cartrages.

Hi,

Please try updating the printer by following 'Install updates through the HP Smart app' below:

https://support.hp.com/bg-en/document/c02919168

May you see any update available using that method or does it say the printer is already up to date?

The smart app is the first thing i tried,  it says its up to date.

My question was how do I roll the firmware back.
