Forced to save to pdf instead of printing on Android

Hi Im recently having trouble with printing from my Android devices. I looked up answers to this problem but only found issues for Windows being caused by Google chrome and not anything with Android. My printer works just fine from my computer which is an Asus with windows 10. However my tablet & phone both have issues being forced to save to PDF & not being able to print afterwords. Based on what I read when the save to PDF I dont have an option to "change", the saved documents wont open in PDF after I saved it, and I dont think the problem is Google chrome because if If try to print from the web, Word pad app, factory installed documnents wordpad, no matter what or where I print from it always saves to PDF. I tried different printing apps but its the same result also. Im not sure what to do other than just print from my PC which is kind of frustrating because Im not always on my PC. Thanks

For better clarity and to assist you better I would require more information regarding this:

• Did this happen after a software update or android update to your android devices?
• Which app is being used to print from the printer?
• Please let me know the complete printer model# to assist you better.

For a start, please perform these steps.

Please perform a router, printer and phone restart from this link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-LaserJet-200-color-Multifunction-Printer/5097648/model/50976...

• Remember instead of the computer, you will be doing it for the phone. Please follow the steps in step 1. “Restart the computer, printer, and router”
• Then uninstall the HP all-in-remote app and reinstall it and try again. This should do the trick for you. :
• If it does not, please install the HP print service plugin from the android play store. This will do the trick for you.
