HP P4015x
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

On my previsous printer Laserjet 2035 it would print everything on one page now on my new printer (P4015x)  it prints the last few lines on a 2nd page.

How can I adjust how much it prints on one page?

What application(s) is/are you printing from?

Setting the required font size and margins in the application is what usually determines how many lines are printed per page.

... or are you just 'sending' plain text to the printer port (e.g. from DOS) without using a Windows text application?

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I'm sending plain txt from a Dos application so there's no formatting options.

Thanks

In which case you'll need to set appropriate default values on the printer itself.

I don't have access to a LJ 4015x, but it's probably similar to other devices.

For example, using the Embedded Web Server on a LaserJet Pro 400 MFP M475dn:

Set the Form Length to an appropriate value; this will effectively set the line-spacing (although the margins will probably always be set to some built-in default value).

Also set the Font Pitch and/or Font Point Size to something appropriate to the line-spacing; which is relevant depends on whether the selected Font Number refers to a scalable fixed-pitch font, or a scalable proportionally-spaced font, or a (fixed-size) bitmap font.
