HP 7640
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am not sure if this is a printer issue, a Windows 10 issue or the communication between my computer and software.

New Envy laptop with windows 10.  Microsoft 365 Office for home and business.  New HP envy 7460 printer.

I am trying to create an invitation on 5X7 paper.  I have formated in publisher and in Word.  Looks perfect on computer screen but when I hit print it is compressed text and the text rides to the top of the page.

When document set up - I set it up for 5X7.  I have modified the margins multiple times to see what happens but it prints the same.  Even if i put a big blank space at the top of the document - it still prints the first line at the top edge of the paper.  No difference in publisher or Word.  I have set the printer for 5X7 paper.  I am lost as what to change next.  Prints fine if I create the document as 8X11.

If I use smaller paper can I put it in the lower tray with the paper aligners slid in or does the smaller paper have to go in the photo tray?  It is not photo paper.  I have tried both.  It tries to signal me to use the photo tray but I can get it to print off the main try with 5X7 paper every once in a while.

I know little about computers so responses need to be in basic steps.  This really shouldn't be this hard.  I have spent over 6 hours on try to print one 5X7.  thank you.

Take a look at this Dragon document:
